What people ask us when comparing

Can a made-to-measure piece be returned?+

With most makers, no: a piece made to your dimensions is excluded from the right of withdrawal (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). Tylko makes an exception for pieces from its configurator. With us, you can cancel from your account as long as production has not started, with a full refund. Pieces from The Stockroom, already made, can be returned within 14 days.

How can you ship within 96 hours?+

We cut, machine and drill everything ourselves, in Saint-Savin, with no subcontractor. The 96 working hours are a ceiling for production. Delivery arrives no later than two weeks after ordering, production included: the two lead times do not add up.

Is melamine wood?+

It is a wood particleboard faced with a resin-impregnated decor paper. It is the material of most made-to-measure furniture sold online, and of part of our competitors' ranges. We use 19 mm boards, and 38 mm for worktops.

Where do you install?+

Our team installs in 12 departments of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: Ain, Allier, Ardèche, Cantal, Drôme, Isère, Loire, Haute-Loire, Puy-de-Dôme, Rhône, Savoie and Haute-Savoie. Elsewhere in mainland France, the piece ships flat-packed, with its printed instructions and boards marked with letters.

What does your 10-year guarantee cover?+

The structure of the piece (panels, edges, joints) for 10 years, and its moving hardware for 5 years, against any manufacturing defect. Report a defect within two months of discovering it, with your order number and photos: if it is covered, we remake the part. Damp, heat, normal wear and assembly not following the instructions are not covered; the details are in article 7a of our terms of sale.

Why no samples?+

We do not offer samples. Every decor is shown in 3D on your own piece, at your dimensions. If the exact shade matters to you, write to us before ordering.

Checked on 21 September 2026, on each maker's official website: product pages, delivery, FAQs and terms and conditions of sale. We only kept what each of them states themselves. Where a piece of information is not there, the cell says so; that does not mean the service does not exist.

We compare neither promotions, which change from one week to the next, nor prices: from one maker to another, materials, options and delivery differ too much for a single figure to be fair.

For the local joiner, as there is no single source, we quote the typical figures published by price guides.
