Custom Walk-in Wardrobes in Melamine Panels
In our workshop in Saint-Savin, in the Isère region, we build custom walk-in wardrobes from melamine panels, designed to the centimetre to fit your room and the way you store your clothes. You shape your project online with our 3D configurator, with the price recalculated live at every choice. From sloped attic spaces to a master bedroom, every wardrobe is a unique piece tailored entirely to your needs.
Why choose a custom wardrobe over a flat-pack one?
A standard wardrobe forces its dimensions onto your room; a custom wardrobe does exactly the opposite. We make use of every awkward corner — angled walls, sloped ceilings, uneven walls, unusual ceiling heights — precisely where flat-pack furniture leaves dead space. You decide on the number of hanging rails, shelves and drawers and how to split upper and lower zones based on your actual wardrobe. The result is storage optimised to the centimetre, in melamine panels with a hard-wearing, easy-care surface, far from the generic units of big-box stores.
Décors and finishes available
We work with melamine panels in wood décors — oak, beech, ash, walnut and many more — as well as plain colours. Each décor has its own character: oak for a warm, timeless presence, walnut for a deep and refined tone, ash for a light, luminous grain. The melamine surface resists scratches, marks and everyday moisture, with no special upkeep. Handles, solid or framed fronts, dividers: everything is composed in the configurator, with the price updating in real time.
From 3D configuration to installation: how it works
It all starts with our 3D configurator: you enter your dimensions, arrange hanging rails, shelves and drawers, choose the décor and finish, and view your wardrobe in real time with its exact price. You order online, then we begin production in our Saint-Savin workshop, usually within two weeks. We deliver flat-packed throughout France; in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, our team delivers and installs your wardrobe for a perfectly level, flush fit.
Layout advice for a truly functional wardrobe
Plan a tall hanging section (around 150 cm of clear height) for coats and dresses, and a double-hang section for shirts and jackets to double the capacity. Position drawers at hip height — the most accessible zone day to day — and keep high shelves for seasonal storage. Integrated LED lighting on a motion sensor transforms a dark attic wardrobe into a pleasant space. Finally, keep 60 cm of clearance in front of the fronts so drawers and doors open freely: we account for this from the configuration stage onward.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom walk-in wardrobe cost?+
The price depends on the dimensions, the décor chosen, the number of drawers and fittings, and the finish. Because every wardrobe is unique, the price is calculated live in the 3D configurator: you watch it change with each choice, with no quote to request. You then order online, in full transparency.
What are the production and delivery times?+
Generally allow under two weeks between your order and delivery, the time needed to build your wardrobe in our Saint-Savin workshop (38). The precise lead time is shown at checkout, based on the complexity of the project and our current workload.
Do you install the wardrobe?+
Yes. We deliver our wardrobes flat-packed throughout France, and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region our team handles delivery and installation. Outside this zone, the wardrobe is delivered ready to assemble with clear instructions, and installation remains available on request.
Is melamine hard-wearing over time?+
Yes. Our wardrobes are made from melamine décor panels, a surface built to resist scratches, marks and moisture with no special upkeep. The décor doesn't fade and wipes clean with a sponge, for a piece that keeps its look year after year.
Can you build a wardrobe for an unusual space (sloped ceiling, corner)?+
That's exactly the point of going custom. Sloped ceilings, attics, inward corners, angled walls or unusual ceiling heights: we design the wardrobe to use every centimetre. The 3D configurator lets you compose your project to the millimetre, with the price recalculated live.
