Custom TV Unit in Melamine

In our workshop in Saint-Savin, in the Isère region of France, every TV unit is drawn around your living room and made from melamine panels. You configure it in 3D from home — dimensions, décor, finish, storage — with the price recalculated live, and we build it piece by piece. The result is a one-of-a-kind unit, perfectly fitted to your wall, your equipment and the way you live.

Why choose a custom TV unit

A standard TV unit forces its dimensions on you; bespoke does the opposite. We fit it to the centimetre — to the width of your wall, the ideal height for your screen and the exact place for your set-top box, console and soundbar. Cable management is built in from the design stage, and every compartment is planned around what you actually store, not a generic use. It's a piece made to last, designed for your room rather than for a catalogue.

Décors and finishes

We work with a wide range of melamine décors — oak, walnut, ash, beech and plain colours — each with its own grain and tone: oak for timeless strength, walnut for warm, deep hues. The melamine surface shows off the décor, resists scratches and marks, and wipes clean easily. Solid fronts, fluted panels, handles or push-to-open: every detail is composed in the configurator, with the price updating in real time.

From 3D configuration to installation at your home

It all starts with our online 3D configurator: you set the dimensions, décor, finish and storage layout, and see your unit in real time with its exact price. You order online, then your unit goes into production in our Saint-Savin workshop, usually within two weeks. It is delivered flat-packed anywhere in France; in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, we handle delivery, installation and setup ourselves.

Setting up your TV unit well

For comfortable viewing, place the centre of the screen at eye level when seated — often around 95 to 110 cm from the floor depending on your sofa. Plan a ventilated niche for the box and amplifier, closed drawers for controllers and cables, and open shelves for the soundbar or a few objects. A unit wider than the screen (at least 20 to 30 cm on each side) balances the wall composition, and a wall-mounted floating module lightens the room visually while making cleaning easier. The configurator helps you weigh these choices before you order.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom TV unit cost?+

The price depends on the dimensions, the décor and the complexity of the storage: a simple wall-mounted module doesn't cost the same as a large low unit with drawers and built-in niches. The 3D configurator calculates the price live: you watch it change with each choice, with no quote to request, then you order online.

What are the production and delivery times?+

Expect under two weeks between your order and delivery — the time needed to build your unit in our workshop. The exact lead time depends on the chosen décor and our current workload, and is confirmed when you order.

Do you deliver and install throughout France?+

We deliver our furniture flat-packed anywhere in France. On-site delivery, installation and setup are handled by our team in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Elsewhere, the unit is delivered ready to install, with instructions and all the guidance you need; installation remains available on request.

Which décor should I choose for a TV unit?+

It depends on the mood you want and your interior. Oak décor is a great classic — sturdy and bright; walnut brings warm, premium tones; ash and beech offer a lighter, more contemporary look. We guide you based on your flooring, your existing furniture and the finish you have in mind.

Are your pieces sturdy?+

Yes, all our custom furniture is made from melamine panels in our Saint-Savin workshop (Isère, 38) and built to last. The melamine surface resists scratches and marks, wipes clean easily and keeps its look over time.
